This classic, vintage-inspired, turn crank brass pepper mill is a unique piece of European tradition. Cast using age-old techniques in a family run facility in Greece, this handmade solid brass pepper mill is as functional as it is beautiful. 

Valued by chefs and home cooks alike for its superior grinding ability and side socket for easy refills, this pepper mill has a unique grinding process that maximizes the peppercorn’s flavor and aroma using its three step mechanical grinding system.

All metal grinding mechanism (no plastic) grinds instead of crushing by (1) grabbing and cracking each individual peppercorn in half, (2) cutting halves into smaller pieces, and finally (3) sending the pieces to the small teeth which grinds them to the selected thickness.

Materials & Care

Material: solid cast brass body with all metal grinding mechanism. No plastic parts gives this grinder incredible longevity.

Care: this pepper grinder is made of unlacquered brass and will develop a beautiful patina over time (although removable with brass cleaner if desired). Wipe the outside with a damp cloth if necessary. Do not use harsh cleaners.

Shipping & Packaging

Shipping is always free for orders over $100 (Domestic US). A $6.50 flat rate applies otherwise.

We use 100% compostable and recyclable packing supplies— paper (in multiple forms) being the most common. Apart from the clear protective sleeves for our art prints, we never use plastic.

Returns

Undamaged/unused products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund on the original payment method. 

Some products – due to final clearance, weight, or fragility – are not eligible for return (will be noted in the product description).
